TimkenSteel recently promoted Carolee Vanicek to director of tube manufacturing. Vanicek will lead all aspects of Gambrinus Steel Plant’s operations. She previously served as senior product manager for tube-based products. Vanicek, who joined the company in 1996, has a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University and earned an MBA from Malone University.

The 250-acre Gambrinus Steel Plant in Canton, Ohio, produces seamless mechanical steel tubing that ranges from 1.9 to 13 inches in diameter and processes alloy steel rounds up to 13 inches in diameter.
