Peruvian company Metales Andinos, which produces products for maintenance of oil and gas pipelines, recently announced that it plans to start exporting forged products to the neighboring South American countries of Chile, Bolivia and Ecuador starting in 2016. The company’s executive director, Luis Miguel Botto, explained that the company will export forged steel flanges, connections and other products to the extractive industries of the nearby countries. Metales Andinos plans to build a new facility, which will become operational in 2017, to help serve these markets.
