The 19th International Forgemasters Meeting will be held in Tokyo, Japan, from Sept. 29-Oct. 3, 2014, at the Makuhari Messe. The IFM organizing committee recently announced some key dates in advance of the event. The call for papers will open in June 2013 and close in October 2013. Notice of paper acceptance is scheduled for February 2014, and the full paper deadline will be June 2014.

Main topics at IFM 2014 will include: recent developments in the forging industry in various countries, advanced forging materials, new production technologies and much more.
