India’s Suzlon Energy, a global supplier of wind turbines, reportedly won $40.4 million in orders for its Seforge unit to supply forged and cast parts used in wind-turbine designs. Seforge will supply $24.2 million in forged rings and $16.2 million in cast components. The forged rings that Seforge makes are also used in the oil and gas industry, which accounts for about 20% of its forging division’s revenue.
