Bharat Forge Forms JV to Manufacture Auto Technology

Bharat Forge Ltd. and KPIT Cummins Infosystems Ltd. announced their intent to form a joint venture to manufacture and market a hybrid technology solution for automobiles. REVOLO will enable both existing and new vehicles to dramatically increase fuel efficiency and engine performance while decreasing greenhouse-gas emissions. The technology has been designed and engineered by KPIT Cummins, while the solution would be manufactured through a JV between Bharat Forge and KPIT Cummins. Bharat would bring its manufacturing, assembly and integration expertise to the JV. REVOLO will be marketed to OEMs and individual vehicle owners through a network of certified dealerships.
