Ceramacast 673 is a high-temperature, two-part, silicon-carbide-based ceramic molding and potting compound used in the production of silicon-carbide (SiC) heaters for the industrial heating market. It is highly filled with SiC, which provides good thermal conductivity and low coefficient of thermal expansion. These properties are extremely important in many high-temperature applications that require good dimensional stability and rapid heating and cooling cycles. The compound can be used in applications to 2450°F.
