Union Electric Steel Corp., a subsidiary of Ampco-Pittsburgh Corp., acquired the business and assets of Alloys Unlimited & Processing Inc. The newly formed subsidiary, Alloys Unlimited and Processing LLC, will be based in Austintown, Ohio, and continue to operate as a leader in the supply of specialty tool, alloy and carbon steel round bar. Alloys Unlimited will also provide specialty services, including heat treating, precision saw cutting, lathe capabilities, CNC machining, rough turning, boring, trepanning and production cutting. Union Electric Steel is a leading global producer of forged and cast roll products as well as ingot and open-die forged products.
