Columbus McKinnon Corp. agreed to acquire Magnetek Inc. for approximately $190 million. Magnetek designs and manufactures digital power and motion control solutions for material handling, elevators and mining applications. Columbus McKinnon is a manufacturer of material-handling products. The Amherst, N.Y.-based company acquired Stahlhammer Bommern GmbH (STB), a manufacturer of a large range of lifting tools and forged parts able to withstand particularly heavy and dynamic loads in January. STB also has forging, tool-making and machining capabilities.
