Virginia Forge, a manufacturer of steel wheel hubs and assemblies for automotive applications, recently announced an expansion to its operations. The Buchanan, Va.-based company will invest $4.6 million over four years on new buildings and equipment and add 38 new jobs to its employee roster, which currently numbers about 70 people. The forge will get a local tax break worth about $66,000 over the four years as part of a performance agreement. Expanding its operations will help Virginia Forge compete for new contracts.
