TriMas Corp. announced that its Lamons business has been approved to manufacture API 6A ring-type joints out of its Wulfrun Wolverhampton facility in the U.K., which previously specialized in fasteners. Lamons is also the first company in Europe approved to manufacture the API 20E fasteners used in subsea critical applications and the first company in the world approved to manufacture to API 6A, 17D, 20E and Q1 quality systems.
Houston, Texas-based Lamons is one of the largest gasket, fastener and specialty bolt suppliers in the world. The company has state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities that produce engineered products to custom specifications. Headquartered in Bloomfield Hills, Mich., TriMas provides engineered and applied products for growing markets worldwide.
