Blast Cleaning Technologies, a leading supplier of shot blasting systems and parts, is reinforcing its support of the North American forging and foundry markets with the purchase of expandable adjacent land that includes a 10,000-square-foot facility. Plans are being developed for a 40,000-square-foot manufacturing facility. The company’s current facility in New Berlin, Wis., being upgraded to include a new 3,500-square-foot “engineering expansion” with a layout designed to improve work flow and information sharing between design teams. In 2012, Blast Cleaning Technologies had five engineers. By the end of March, the company will have 25 located in its Innovation Center of Excellence.
