Morgan Thermal Ceramics

Cerox fired refractory shapes offer resistance to chemical attack from acids, slags and gases to produce a clean, contaminant-free metal for end users in aerospace and automotive steel foundries. Dense, hard and chemically stable, Cerox shapes are fired to temperatures that create especially strong molecular bonds. Fired shapes manufactured from Sillimanite Cerox 200 are comprised of 74% alumina and fired mullite, which offer good chemical attack resistance, thermal shock and non-wetting characteristics at temperatures as high as 2850°F.
