Columbus McKinnon Corp. acquired Stahlhammer Bommern GmbH, a manufacturer of a large range of lifting tools and forged parts able to withstand particularly heavy, static and dynamic loads, including single and ramshorn lifting hooks. STB, which is based in Hamm, Germany, has forging, tool-making and machining capabilities. The company deepens Columbus McKinnon’s exposure to the oil and gas, mining, construction and heavy-equipment industries.
