Firth Rixson signed an agreement with Rolls-Royce for the supply of seamless rolled rings. The deal is worth approximately $500 million and will extend from 2015-2022. The agreement covers aero-engine parts for Rolls-Royce’s existing and next-generation engine programs, including the Trent XWB, 1000-10 and 900 EP. According to Firth Rixson, the deal solidifies the strategic relationship between the companies in light of the growing demand for aircraft-engine production.
