Alcan Forging, a business of Alcan Engineered Products, entered into a joint venture with Strojmetal Kamenice. The joint venture, named Alcan Strojmetal Aluminium Forging, will develop and manufacture forgings including automotive chassis parts, decorative applications and powertrain components as well as industrial products made from aluminum. The production site in Kamenice, which is approximately 20 miles southeast of Prague, Czech Republic, will add fully automated aluminum extrusion press lines to comply with growing demand.
