Digital Pyrometer

The Model MI-IS12-AL is specially designed to satisfy the needs of the aluminum industry. Working at a wavelength in which the material emissivity is both stable and relatively high in value (30-43%), the unit is suitable for aluminum applications such as billet heating, extrusion and rolling. The fully digital MI-IS12-AL, which features high accuracy and repeatability, can be quickly and easily configured by the user – either at the pyrometer or remotely – using the RTS232/485 serial interface and the included InfraWin Pyrometer Software.
