The Insulfrax S Blanket from Unifrax is manufactured using enhanced fiberization techniques combined with new, proprietary process technology. It offers higher temperature capability than the Insulfrax 1800 Blanket that it replaces. The Insulfrax S Blanket has a continuous use limit of 1100°C (2012°F) and a temperature grade of 2300°F. Additionally, its melting point has been approved to provide customers with an increased safety margin. Insulfrax S has excellent thermal conductivity, thermal shock resistance and low heat storage as well as ease of cutting and fabrication.
