Automatic Sawing System

Advanced Machine & Engineering Co. announces its AMSAW S300, the newest addition to its family of carbide sawing systems. It is designed for efficiency, speed and increased productivity for cutting ferrous and nonferrous materials. It has a capacity of 3.00 inches to 12.00 inches and utilizes saw-blade diameters from 24-36 inches. The spindle motor is 60 Hp/45kW and provided with operator-friendly controls. The AMSAW S300 allows for cut lengths up to 30 inches and multi-indexing when lengths exceed 30 inches. Accuracy for length is (+/-) 0.005 in. The AMSAW offers a compact design that incorporates hardened spindle gears with minimum backlash. It uses cermet or carbide tipped, disposable or re-grindable saw blades. Unattended sawing is possible with the automatic bar loading table.
