Forge Press Automation Controller

Cieco Inc. announces the release of their low-cost automation forge press clutch/brake controller model FPC-1000R. Designed to reduce wear on the start/stop components of your press, the model FPC-1000R provides the ability to control two separate dual-safety solenoid valves – one for the clutch and one for the brake. Controlled start/stop timing of these valves is critical in operation and important in preventing premature wear on the clutch and brake. The FPC-1000R forge press control is standard with a real brake-stop timer, counters, programmable limit switches and die-protection safety sensor inputs. Two separately operated microprocessors continuously crosscheck each other to provide control reliability. If either system fails, the control will send a stop signal to the press and prevent successive strokes until the failure is corrected.
