Forging Simulation Software

QuantorForm, the creator of QForm forging simulation software, released its budget-priced QForm Lite, a full-featured forging/cold forming simulation package that includes all of the features and the ease of use of its big brother QForm 3D/2D. Features include: simulation of both 2D and 3D problems; detection of laps, flow through and non-fill defects; and full tool simulation capabilities including die stress and die wear. The only limitation of QForm Lite is that it is limited to simulations of less than 30,000 nodes. QForm Lite is perfect for cold formers, fastener manufacturers and forge shops that produce relatively simple parts or parts that can be modeled in a partial wedge section.
