Radiant Tube Technology

Reverse-annulus single-ended radiant tube (RASERT) technology from North American Manufacturing Company (NAMC) increases combustion efficiency and reduces NOx emissions while decreasing maintenance and downtime in gas-fired heat-treating furnaces. The RASERT technology, patented by the Gas Technology Institute and licensed to NAMC, has the potential to increase production rates over conventional radiant-tube technologies. It is an improvement to current single-ended radiant-tube designs and a cost-effective replacement for other radiant-tube configurations. Applications for the technology include ferrous and nonferrous heat treating, forging and foundry facilities that use gas-fired radiant U-tubes, stratight-through tubes, gas-fired single-ended radiant tubes, or resisitive-electric-heating tube elements.
