The unit has a large graphic display with adjustable contrast and backlight to make viewing test results easy. Intuitive menus, soft function keys and windows-like control structure make operation simple. Impact direction is detected automatically, and the corresponding connection is applied to give an accurate reading. The conversion of test results into all common hardness scales is available for most materials and can be changed at any time. The EQUOTIP 3 has a large data storage capacity of more than 100,000 readings, and the device is equipped with RS232, USB and Ethernet interfaces.
