Wilson Instruments announces increased capabilities for its Tukon 2100B Microindentation Tester. Designed to perform both micro and macro load range hardness testing, the Tukon 2100B can test a broad range of specimens. With test forces as low as 10gf and as high as 50 kgf, the system is able to perform tests for a variety of Knoop and Vickers applications. The unit’s advanced optical system provides unmatched image quality. For 2007, a fully automatic computer-controlled system is offered to provide the latest in automatic stage control, image analysis and automatic indent measurement.
