Unifrax introduces Excelfrax® 1900 Panel to its existing family of Excelfrax® products. The Excelfrax® line is based on the microporous insulation principle, exhibiting extremely efficient insulating characteristics. Excelfrax® 1900 Panel provides customers with higher temperature performance (1900°F) and a product form with superior strength and handleability. Excelfrax® 1900 Panel is composed of inorganic oxides, primarily fumed silica. Silicates and opacifiers are added to improve material performance. Excelfrax® 1900 Panel offers a number of advantages, including extremely low thermal conductivity, thermal stability up to 1900°F, consistent operating temperatures and easy fabrication.
