Inductoheat

Inductoheat, Madison Heights, Mich., offers its new InductoForge modular billet heating system. The InductoForge billet heater’s modular design allows the forge shop to assemble an induction system that exactly matches its application requirements and makes it possible to add or subtract modules for future production needs. The system uses 500kW power modules capable of running at a wide range of frequencies (500 Hz to 6000 Hz). Each module is individually controlled, resulting in a much finer and more accurate control of billet temperature. In addition, the technology allows for efficient heating over a wide range of billet diameters using a single size heavy-duty coil. InductoForge billet heating equipment enables flexible manufacturing, minimizes coil changeover and enhances productivity and commonality by making service easy while lowering spare parts costs.
