The Forging Industry Association (FIA) launched its interactive job board, the Forging Career Center (FCC). The new feature went “live” on Feb. 20. The FCC offers its members an easy-to-use and highly targeted resource for online employment connections. “We’re very excited about the Forging Career Center because we know how critical it is for employers in the forging industry to attract first-rate talent with a minimum expenditure of time and resources,” said Roy Hardy, FIA’s executive vice president.

Employers can post jobs online, search for qualified candidates based on specific job criteria and create an online résumé agent to e-mail qualified candidates daily. For job seekers, the FCC is a free service that provides access to employers and jobs in the forging industry. Both members and non-members can use the FCC to reach qualified candidates.
