PRV Metals, a portfolio company of Denver, Colo.-based Platte River Ventures, acquired the stock of TechSpec Inc. (TSI). TSI, of Derry, Pa., provides specialty rolled and forged titanium products to the commercial aerospace, defense, medical, energy and industrial sectors. TSI’s capabilities include hot rolling, forging, conditioning, heat treating and machining of titanium into round bar. This is the second recent acquisition for PRV Metals, which also acquired California-based Sierra Alloys Company last November.
